
Academic Probation Program and Enforcement
Students who fail to complete one or more assigned academic interventions to include aforementioned Critical Course Tasks by the due date will be placed in GACA’s Academic Probation Program.
This program is designed to provide targeted intervention, accountability, and an opportunity for students to demonstrate mastery and return to good academic standing.
Students on academic probation will:
● Receive written notification of non-compliance.
● Be assigned a probation period during which they must complete all outstanding work and demonstrate progress.
● Be supported by their teachers, advisors, and school staff through check-ins and learning plans
● Be subject to consequences of non-compliance.
Failure to comply with the terms of academic probation may result in:
● Loss of course credit
● Delay in grade-level promotion
● Administrative withdrawal from Georgia Co
