Academic Probation Overview & Consequences

Failure to follow the expectations outlined in your Student Academic Accountability Plan (SAAP) will result in placement into the Academic Probation Program. This program is designed to provide additional structure and support when a student is not meeting academic requirements. While on probation, students will be subject to increased monitoring, required check-ins, and additional interventions. Continued non-compliance will lead to administrative withdrawal from Georgia Connections Academy.

Academic Probation Entry – Synchronous staff contact to discuss terms of Academic Probation

Violation 1 – Webmail and Parent Square notification sent

Violation 2 – Mandatory conference with student accountability department

Violation 3 – Student eligible for administrative withdrawal
